Scientific Name: Xiphophorus helleri The Assorted Double Swordtail is a colorful variation of the classic swordtail livebearer. Males feature a unique tail with both the top and bottom rays extended, forming a “double sword” appearance. These active and hardy fish are peaceful and do well in community aquariums. They adapt easily to most water conditions and accept a variety of foods including flakes, pellets, and frozen foods. Like other swordtails, they are livebearers and can reproduce readily in aquariums.
