Regardless of variety, male guppies are known for their vibrant coloration which makes them admired and sought after by any guppy enthusiast or freshwater aquarium hobbyist interested in colorful live-bearing fish. The Assorted Male Guppy does best in an established aquarium of at least 10 gallons. Though tolerant of small changes, care should be taken to maintain stable water parameters. If you are interested in breeding guppies, the ideal aquarium should have a covering of floating plants and a breeding box to protect the fry.
