Remarks: You will receive an assortment of mbuna from our inventory. There is No Guarantee which species you will receive and you cannot choose the ones you will receive in this pa ck. These mbunas are also sold as unsexed and it will be a random mix of males and females. All of the mbuna included in these packages are raised by us here at Imperial Tropicals or from our local breeders here in Florida. Mbuna cichlids are rock dwelling fish that come from Lake Malawi in the Rift Valley. Both males and females are typically very colorful and hardy fish that are easy to keep in an aquarium. Unlike peacocks and haps, multiple breeding groups of different species can be kept together in the same tank without quite as much aggression, but there is still a possibility of hybridization. Being mainly herbivorous, mbuna should be fed a mainly vegetarian diet. Mbuna will attack young peacocks and haps which in turn, will attack mbuna upon maturity, so it is not recommended to mix these groups. Show more
