H and woven by our most skilled kilim weavers, Aster celebrates fertility, marriage, luck and abundance through its use of traditional Anatolian tarak (comb), Kupe (earrings), hands on hips, rams horn and running water motifs expertly woven throughout the rug. In soft pinks, faded olive, charcoal and natural ecru, Aster is a wonderful classical rug woven with antiqued marled yarn to give an aged look, soft underfoot and incredibly intricate patterned weaving. The quality of kilim weaving is shown through the crisp delineated pattern breaks known as kilim slits that run wherever colour and pattern changes. Our Wonder Yarn makes it a doddle to machine wash and it can even be used outdoors in the garden with it's coordinating cushions.
