CTK has developed “Asthma Blues”®, an evidence-based and musically entertaining asthma education intervention. “Asthma Blues”® utilizes original music as the vehicle to deliver evi dence-based national guidelines for asthma management and messaging that leads to empowerment and the ability to make positive health choices, which can improve quality of life. The "Asthma Blues" study was performed using the music from "Asthma Blues" and the "Asthma Blues" study guide with hospitalized asthma patients at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. The study results showed a 58% increase in asthma knowledge and self-management skills.
