Astoria Prosecco is a Charmat-method Italian sparkling wine made from 100% Glera grapes, bottled at 11% ABV in a standard 750ml format. The family cultivates 40 hectares of estate vineyards at the Val de Brun Estate, situated within the Prosecco Hills landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. The wine is produced entirely from Glera grapes using the Charmat-Martinotti method — a pressurized tank fermentation that preserves the grape's fresh, fruit-driven aromatics and delivers the wine's characteristic fine, persistent bubbles.Tasting NotesAroma: The nose opens with clean, stony minerality before unfolding into bright green apple and white peach. Delicate floral lifts of acacia blossom and subtle hints of biscuit dough round out the bouquet.Taste: The palate entry is dry and invigorating, carried by fine mousse and a mineral-driven backbone. Mid-palate brings ripe pear and golden apple accents, while the texture turns harmonious and lightly creamy as candied stone fruit emerges toward the peak.Finish: Zippy and citrus-tinged, the finish is refreshingly brisk with lingering notes of lemon zest and green apple skin. Medium in length, it leaves the palate clean and ready for the next sip or bite. How to Drink Astoria ProseccoServe well-chilled, between 6–8°C (43–46°F), in a tulip-shaped glass that concentrates the floral aromatics without dissipating the bubbles as quickly as a wide coupe. This Prosecco also performs well in cocktails: try it in a classic Aperol Spritz, where its dry minerality balances the bittersweet aperitivo liqueur; in a Bellini, pairing its white peach notes naturally with peach purée; or in a Hugo Spritz, where the elderflower syrup highlights the wine's own acacia-blossom character.Best For Casual weekend brunch with friends or family Hosting an aperitivo hour before a dinner party Gifting a reliable Italian sparkling wine to a Prosecco enthusiast Summer gatherings and outdoor entertaining where a chilled, crowd-pleasing sparkler is essential Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does Astoria Prosecco taste like?
