This handmade lampwork marble features a fun space scene. The background is black glass with tiny droplets of fine silver to represent the night sky. I've drawn a green ringed planet, a rocket ship and an astronaut kitty in hair thin stringer. The background features a tiny alien in his ship in the distance and a pretty blue nebula. This large marble has been heavily encased in clear to magnify 44mm or 1.74 inches All my Marbles are annealed in a computer controlled kiln for strength and durability. These are handmade so there might be a slight variance in size. My marbles are all made in soft glass, so they are much softer and have less surface tension when melted than borosilicate. Because of the handmade nature, there can be some imperfections. I do get these as perfectly round as I can, but they are handmade. My pictures are taken in a lightbox with an SLR camera to get the best representation of my work. There are still variances in monitors and so forth.
