This is a Georgian qvevri wine made from a lighter skinned red grape. This leads to a leaner style, a bit more crunchy than the Saperavi you may have heard of. Nevertheless, the ti me on skins leads it to be tannic but full of red fruit. Lots of cranberry, red plum, and mulberry notes with a bit of stemmy structure. Show more
