T he accordion pleats at the sides of the waist created using the Steam Stretch* technique provide both visual beauty and functionality. *The “Steam Stretch” technique shrinks cloth by applying hot steam in order to create unique stretch materials. Special threads shrunken with heat are woven with other threads, and then only the special thread parts shrink when the steam is applied.
