The AT700AH Rain Hood provides extra protection for the AT700AS door entry stations, by shielding the station(s) from the extremes of weather. The extended hood protects rain or ice from penetrating the speaker and microphone, keeping excessive moisture off of the station(s). The Rain Hood(s) should be used when installing the AT700AS remote station(s) outdoors. The Rain Hood is made of cold rolled steel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and strength. The Rain Hood is powder coated in a Silver color exterior paint.
