Gongfu Sidehandle Ataraxia is a beautiful Dian Hong from Big Snow Mountain. It is from the same farm as Serenity and Halcyon. However, those teas were made of mature leaves that we re only very lightly oxidized (for a red tea). This gave them a delicate, soft flavor and gentle, floral aroma. Their Qi was Yin. Ataraxia is from the same old-growth tea trees, but it is far more tippy (meaning it has more buds). It is also more oxidized. This all lends it a bolder, malty rich flavor and deep floral aroma, as well as a relatively more Yang energy than Serenity. Show more
