A 1930s Salar Khani Baluch rug from northeast Persia. Dark blue/black field with all over design with pale yellow and ivory highlight; triple ribbon and floral medallion borders. L ovely triplecorded selvedges which are characteristic of fine Baluch rugs. Soft wool fringes. Slight fraying to right selvedge, otherwise good pile and condition.
