A fine, small cabinet specimen hosting two rare microcrystalline bismuth minerals from the Junge Kalbe mine at Neustädtel in Saxony, Germany. Small crystallised druses of light bei ge Atelestite are associated with ball-like crystals of colourless Eulytine covering the surface of a rusty coloured, limonite stained Quartz vein surface. Atelestite is a bismuth arsenate and Eulytine, a bismuth silicate, both of which are seldom encountered in old collections. This is a rich example of both these rare bismuth species. Show more
