Description Athena Cleanse is made from the ideal safe root zone optimising agent, Hypochlorous acid. This mild and safe acid is a plant-safe chemical with powerful oxidative properties to keep your root zone clean and free of buildup and unwanted organisms. These unique properties improve both mineral and oxygen availability in the media. Key Features Non-toxic and Safe to use on plants at any stage of growth Neutral pH so it won't affect solution stability Increases Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) Breaks down the scale, keeping irrigation systems in pristine condition Reduces biofilm and keeps lines clear of dangerous organic material Promotes robust root growth and is effective as a final flush to clean growing media It keeps the irrigation system cleaner and running efficiently Reduces mineral buildup in lines and media Increases nutrient and oxygen availability in growing media System Maintenance: Irrigation systems regularly maintained with Athena Cleanse treatment will last longer and run more optimally throughout. Cleanse helps break down the scale, mineral buildup, and other organic matter lodged in the system. Regular Use: Use a dilute mixture of 2-5ml per gallon of water for regular maintenance. Severe Conditions: Increase rate to 5-10 mL per gallon of water for combatting severe reservoir and growing media conditions. Cuttings/Clones: Cleanse is a must for fresh cuttings and all cloning machines; dip new cuttings in Cleanse (10 ml per gallon) to increase immunity and improve cell health. Cuttings and seedlings treated with Cleanse have more vigour and are more likely to grow into robust plants. Plants with roots treated with Cleanse will be bright white and bursting with tiny feeder root hairs. RDWC and Other Recirculating Hydroponics Systems: Any deep water culture (DWC) or recirculating irrigation system should use Cleanse to increase nutrient and oxygen availability. Irrigation water treated with Cleanse reduces the risk of developing problems often associated with insufficient oxygen levels and overwatering, such as biofilm buildup and anaerobic microbial growth. Lockout and mineral buildup are significant causes of deficiencies and plant health problems; solve these issues with Athena Cleanse. Media/System Flush: Mix Athena Cleanse at a rate of 5-10ml/gallon of water during the final flush stage to help reduce mineral buildup in the plant tissues and media. In the final stage of life, reducing excess minerals encourages the plant to produce more oils, aromas, and flavours associated with a quality end product. This procedure may be used during vegetative or flowering phases if the growing media or irrigation system develops mineral imbalance or unwanted buildup. Foliar Applications: Once you have mixed 375ml of Cleanse per gallon of water, spray evenly in a small area first to ensure no damage occurs. Surface Treatment/Cleaning: Spraying work areas, cultivation surfaces and irrigation equipment with a dilute solution of Cleanse (375ml per gallon) helps maintain a trouble-free and clean environment without dangerous and toxic chemicals.
