These small, charismatic seabirds are known for their colorful, parrot-like beaks and black and white feathers. They are excellent underwater swimmers and divers, feeding on small fish and spends most of their lives on the sea. There are only 4 Puffin species: Atlantic Puffin, Horned Puffin, Tufted Puffin, and the Rhinoceros Auklet. Iceland is home to 8-10 million Atlantic Puffins. They migrate to Iceland in Late April to Early May and leave around late August to early September. Show more
