Nestled on a rocky beach looking west out to St Kilda. She’s there, over the curve of the horizon, the last island before the endless Atlantic Ocean. My paper is weighed down with pebbles, paint puddling in the indents but safe from the sharp breeze. Streaks of light flood the skyline, swiftly vanishing into the coming rain as the daylight stretches into evening. 20 x 38 cm, watercolour, ink and wax.
