It supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), allowing a compatible ATOM controller project to receive network access and power through a PoE hub or switch without a separate power supply. Built around the W5500 embedded Ethernet controller, the base integrates a TCP/IP protocol stack, 8 independent hardware sockets, and 10/100M Ethernet MAC/PHY support. This gives embedded projects a practical wired network access option for production environments where stable Ethernet connectivity matters. Features ATOM compatibility: compatible with Atom-Lite, Atom-Matrix, AtomS3, and AtomS3-Lite. PoE support: supports the IEEE802.3 AF PoE standard.
