This A5 Test Pipe is a simple, affordable bolt-on alternative to a full downpipe upgrade. It replaces the most restrictive section of the OEM 2.0T exhaust — the catalytic section bolted directly to the turbo housing — freeing up airflow and cutting back-pressure for up to +24 whp and +30 wtq on tuned cars. Gains are most noticeable low in the rev range where the stock system chokes flow, with sharper throttle response and faster turbo spool too. Highlights Gains of up to +24 whp / +30 wtq. Run without an ECU tune or O2 sensor fix and expect a check-engine light; resolve it with an upgraded ECU program or an O2 sensor fix adapter.
