The LH series exists in four weights — 11, 13, 15 and 18 grams — so you can match effective mass to your cartridge's compliance rather than accept whatever the arm came with. The AT-LH11H is the lightest, which suits higher-compliance cartridges. The body and connector are hard-anodized aluminum, a finish Audio-Technica specifies for damping unwanted vibration. What sets the LH series apart is the adjustable cylinder: loosen it with the supplied hex wrench and you can set azimuth and overhang precisely, then lock it down. Lead wires are OFC with PCOCC terminal pins. Note that the mounting holes are non-threaded and no nuts are supplied, so this headshell is built around cartridges with threaded bodies — the AT-OC9X series, AT-ART9X and VM95 series among them.
