One Amplifier, Three Speaker Zones Connect the speaker output from your amplifier to the Audioflow, then connect one pair of passive speakers to each of its three zones. Every active zone receives the same audio source and shares the amplifier’s volume level, while the Audioflow lets you choose which areas are playing. Important Compatibility Information The Audioflow is a speaker selector, not an amplifier. It must be connected to the speaker output of a suitable stereo amplifier and can only be used with passive speakers. It does not power speakers by itself and is not intended for active or powered speakers. All three zones play the same audio and use the same amplifier volume setting. The Audioflow switches each zone on or off but does not provide separate audio sources or independent volume control for each area. The three-zone model uses an impedance-matching series/parallel arrangement, with Zone A operating in parallel with Zones B and C connected in series when required. This helps prevent the combined speaker load from falling below a safe level for the amplifier. Available amplifier power is shared between active zones, so the relative output may vary depending on the selected zones and connected speaker impedances.
