Forge a statement dome ring using traditional silversmithing techniques. Beginner-friendly, but the results look anything but. In this 4-hour workshop, you will be guided through the steps of forging a dome ring. Class sizes are kept small to ensure hands-on instruction from an experienced metalsmith. Each student will create their own sterling silver dome ring from start to finish. Skills covered: Sizing and filing Forming a ring Soldering Shaping and forging Refining and polishing *All materials and the use of tools is included. *For safety reasons, I kindly ask that students be age 18+, or 16+ with a participating parent/guardian. *Please bring eye magnification if needed. We will be working with small items which can be difficult for some to see clearly.
