This is an experience I've been looking forward to sharing for a long time. A fantastic example of how great aged rye can taste, this is a cask that I have held for a number of years, knowing that is was getting better every year and now it's ready to share. Distilled and aged for the first few years at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the hidden giant of American whiskey known for its top-quality liquid. It was then brought over to the UK to finish its ageing in our warehouse, where I could sample regularly to make sure it was progressing as I expected. Mashbill: 95% Rye | 5% Malted BarleyAge: 11 Years OldBarrel: New American White OakBarrel Yield: 191 bottlesAroma: Bold rye spice and floral notes.
