Rugged boulders in front of lighthouse making a good composition at Cape Leeuwin. Augusta, found on the Southwest coast of WA where the Blackwood River eventually finds its way to Flinders Bay. It is also the closest town to Cape Leeuwin and its famous historic lighthouse, which is on the furthest Southwest corner of the continent. The coastline near Augusta was first sighted by European sailors in 1622 on the ship "Leeuwin" and the land was mapped and subsequently named.
