Augusta Prefinished Engineered Glazed Oak DoorThe Augusta Glazed keeps the clean contemporary face of the range, its horizontal-panel layout lifted by four inset clear glazed panel s that draw daylight between rooms. It is one of our modern oak internal doors, and shares its design with solid and FD30 fire-rated versions in the same range. It is faced in oak veneer over a solid core, so the glazing sits within natural oak grain.It is prefinished and ready to hang, in four standard sizes at 35mm thick, each with a trimming allowance of up to 32mm off the height and width from its 18mm solid oak lippings. The glass is clear toughened safety glass, and the solid core makes a more substantial, better-insulating door than a hollow core that pairs well with oak skirting and architrave in a matching tone. The veneer is FSC certified, with a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing defects.The Augusta Glazed hangs on standard hinges and takes a lever handle, so you can match the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware. Hang it on three hinges to keep the glazed leaf well supported.Being prefinished, the faces arrive sealed and ready to use, though any cut-out for the fittings and any trimmed edge still needs sealing as you fit, keeping the oil off the glass.
