THE STORY BEHIND THE COLLECTION A night I will never forget. On may 10, 2024, an incredible phenomenon occurred. A solar storm made the fascinating Northern Lights visible, even in southern Quebec. The KP index of 0 to 9 indicates disturbances in the Earth's magnetic field. This memorable night gave us a KP9. Although such a phenomenon is extremely rare, I had already thought about where I would photograph these auroras in the region. A small river near a waterfall in the forest that offers a perfect flow and would allow me to capture the auroras not only in the sky but also in the reflection of the water. This location is only accessible after a walk in the forest of about 1 hour. Obviously, I had no guarantee that the auroras would still be there when I arrived. I bet everything by going there in the middle of the night and... I hit the jackpot... A fascinating colorful spectacle. A moment when I was able to immortalize the bridge between two worlds.
