π Aurora Opal w/ Black Body & Rainbow Fire β 80% Resin, Swirling Non-Directional Play-of-Color Aurora Opal is a lab-created hybrid opal formed from silica combined with a high proportion of polymer (approximately 80%), giving it a layered structure and excellent workability. Unlike directional opal types, the Aurora variety displays a swirling, non-directional play-of-color β flowing, iridescent flashes that roll and shift across the stone in the sweeping, luminous effect that gives Aurora its name. Here, a deep black body ignites with the full spectrum of rainbow fire, the dark base driving maximum contrast so every color in the swirl reads bold and brilliant.
