Norther Lights above ice candle Our endless winter nights are sometimes lit up by some stunning shows of Northern lights. This one happened in the middle of December when the daylight is the shortest of the year. At 15.00, it was already pitch dark on the frozen lake, but some soft green glow started to dance above my head. It began slowly, but hours after hours, it was getting more and more intense, giving me the opportunity to capture the contrast between the snow, the handcrafted ice candles and the movement of the aurora. The available print sizes fit standard frame dimensions, but this means a slight crop of the original image. If you’d like a different format, feel free to get in touch through the contact form, I can arrange a custom print just for you!
