This stunning statement ring has such an incredible amount of detail and texture. I created it by imprinting a sage leaf I grew in my garden into precious metal clay. From there the leave was fired, then forged into a ring and the setting was soldered on. I hand selected this incredible Australian Black Opal from the Tuscon Gem and Mineral show earlier this year. This opal was very unique in comparison to others I have seen. It is almost electric in nature displaying bold, deep blues and purples which are difficult to pick up in a photo.
