Please tell us your requirements in the field below. ---DETAILS--- Authentic Mexican cooking goes beyond following a recipe. It’s all about a tactile experience, from feeling the texture of masa to grinding ingredients in a pestle and mortar. In this hands-on class, you learn to make tortillas and tamales (masa harina steamed in corn husks). We’ll teach you how to build layers of flavour through traditional sauces such as mole and salsa verde, giving you the confidence to attempt all its different variations at home. At the end of the class, you will sit down to enjoy all the dishes we’ve cooked, from cabbage ‘al pastor’ to huaraches (a variation on tortillas that will become a staple dish at your house). Any student who arrives to class intoxicated, or appears to be so during class, will be asked to leave and not qualify for a refund.
