TE-RMAG50 manual optical Refractometer is perfect for quickly determining the concentration and freezing point of coolant used in automotive applications. It can be used to determi ne freezing point of both Ethylene and Propylene Gylcol from -50°C to 0°C . A 3rd scale shows battery fluid Specific Gravity level from 1.100 to 1.400nD To use, pipette 2-3 drops of the sample onto the palate and close the cover flap. Hold the refractometer towards a light source and look through the eye piece. The concentration % will be indicated by a defined line on the scale.
