The sample pot is a very important part of any monitoring/dosing system. You simply mount this pot on the wall near the controller, and place the pH and/or EC probe into it. A pump in the reservoir will keep water flowing 24/7, so the probes are always getting the most accurate readings. Keeping the probes in the sample pot makes sure they cannot be broken or accidentally removed from the reservoir and they are easy to calibrate.
