Upon registration, a mandatory PIN code of your choosing will be required whenever you power up your AutoProPAD or awaken it from sleep mode. This process is no more complicated than unlocking your phone. If an incorrect PIN is entered multiple times, the programmer will become a paperweight until the machine registrant proves rightful ownership. Additionally, the device must momentarily connect to the internet once every 24 hours to verify that it has not been reported stolen.
