I took the photo I have used to inspire this new tutorial just a couple of days before we filmed it, in late November last year. The scene is on a lane that forms part of a walk my wife and I do from time to time near our home in the Derbyshire Dales, in an area called the “Black Rocks of Cromford”. I was initially drawn to the scene by the rich autumn colour which I was surprised to see so late in the year, and thought it would make the perfect antidote to the dull grey colours of winter.
