This pocket-sized tool measures approximate avalanche danger with 3 levels of approximate danger and a grid for examining snow crystals, w hile also measuring the slope of terrain for hikers and skiers. The grooved base aligns with a ski or trekking pole for sighting, and fits easily in a pocket, or on a keychain. Can also be permanently affixed to ski/trekking pole with zip-ties (not included).
