The Aventure 3 ships as a Class II ebike, with pedal assist and throttle. The Aventure 3 will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an ar ea that only allows Class I ebike or throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX6-rated standard. An IPX6 rating means the bike is protected against high-pressure water streams from any angle. This provides strong water resistance, so you can confidently ride in heavy rain or through puddles and mud. However, IPX6 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion.
