Avid Ringed Heli Lead The Avid Ringed Heli Lead has been purpose-built for anglers fishing helicopter setups, offering a tidy, effective presentation with improved casting performance. Finished in Avid’s dual-speck camouflage and coated in a tough matte finish, it blends in well on most lakebeds while holding up to plenty of use. It’s subtle, reliable, and does exactly what you want it to do. The nose-heavy, streamlined shape helps the lead fly straight and true, reducing wobble during the cast. This makes it easier to hit your spots consistently, whether you're fishing at range or just tightening up your accuracy. 🎯 Designed for Helicopter Rigs This lead has been designed specifically with helicopter rigs in mind. Instead of a traditional swivel, it features a single ring attachment, giving you a neater and more streamlined setup. The flattened base is another useful feature. It increases contact with the lakebed, helping you feel a more solid ‘donk’ on the drop — ideal for working out whether you're landing on gravel, clay, or softer silt. ⚙️ Key Features Designed for helicopter rig setups Ring attachment for a cleaner, safer presentation Nose-heavy shape for improved casting distance and accuracy Reduced wobble in flight Flattened base for better lakebed feedback Dual-speck camo finish for low visibility Durable matte coating for long-lasting use ⚖️ Available Sizes 1.5oz (42g) 2oz (56g) 2.5oz (70g) 3oz (85g) 3.5oz (100g) 4oz (113g) 💬 Why Choose This Lead?
