An ultra-premium tequila from Avion, whose silver tequila was voted 'world's best tasting tequila' at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. For this extra-añejo offerin g, Avion has matured their spirit in traditional oak barrels for 43 months and then filled it into petite oak barrels for one further month - during which point the barrels are rotated daily. The result is a rich tequila with deep aromas of roasted agave and vanilla, complemented by light citrus. Flavors follow the aromas, but dried fruits, eucalyptus, and cinnamon are also present.
