The PRO-PELLER was designed to provide a durable, cost effective, reflective unit to complement the EAGLE EYE system. The PRO-PELLER rotates by means of it’s double bearing system and the wings have been designed to rotate with the slightest of breeze. The PRO-PELLER is totally wind-driven and no power is needed. The wings are made out of aluminium and the mounting bracket is 304-grade stainless steel. This ensures longevity, even in coastal environments. The unit requires servicing every 4 months to ensure optimal reflections. The PRO PELLER carries a 2 year guarantee.It is available in two colour variants: Silver and Gold for land birds, or Red and Gold for marine birds. The PRO-PELLER is intended to be used in conjunction with the EAGLE EYE system. Each PRO-PELLER has an effective radius of 15 m. Place one unit every 30 m in large open areas. Always place the units in direct sunlight and in areas with a light breeze. Place the EAGLE EYE units on the highest points of the building and near the key problem areas. The PRO-PELLER is intended to be used in conjunction with the EAGLE EYE system every 30 m between the EAGLE EYE units. Performance The Pro-Peller unit will reduce daytime bird infestation. It is NOT intended to be used to deter roosting or nesting birds. To ensure best results: Install physical bird-proofing products at any nesting or roosting areas. Ensure that easily accessible food sources are removed or covered. Clean the Pro-Peller wings and cups every 3-4 months with window cleaning soap and water. The Pro-Peller unit is completely modular and replacement wings and cups can easily be installed if needed. The effective radius of the Pro-Peller unit is up to 15 m in direct sunlight.
