Aviverm™ – Simple, One‑Dose Worm Treatment for Poultry and Birds Aviverm™ is an easy‑to‑use liquid wormer for chickens, turkeys, ducks, pigeons, and cage birds. It treats the three most common intestinal worms: roundworm, hairworm, and cecal worm, in both their immature and adult stages. A single dose in the drinking water helps clear worms quickly so birds can get back to normal growth, good condition, and steady egg production. Why Use Aviverm™? One‑dose treatment for the major poultry worms Helps birds return to normal growth and laying Easy to mix into drinking water Suitable for birds of all ages Worm‑free birds mean better production, improved feed conversion, and healthier, more uniform flocks For Best Results Add Aviverm™ to the drinkers your birds normally use Make sure all drinkers are working properly Avoid treating on days when birds may drink less (e.g., sudden cold snaps) Do not treat in extremely hot weather When used as directed, Aviverm™ does not affect growth, egg production, fertility, or hatchability How to Use Estimate how many birds are drinking from each tank Work out their average body weight Calculate the total liveweight Dose at 1 mL Aviverm™ per 9 kg liveweight Add the calculated amount to the drinking water Ensure enough medicated water is available for 8 hours of normal drinking Administration Tips For best effect, birds should drink the treated water as quickly as possible Withhold water from 2 hours before nightfall until morning (or lights out), then offer only the treated water Replace with fresh water after 8 hours or once the medicated water is finished For broilers or birds under continuous lighting: Withhold water for 1 hour in summer or 2 hours in winter, then offer treated water Withholding Periods Meat: Do not slaughter birds for 7 days after treatment Eggs: Do not sell eggs for 6 days after the last treatment Regulatory Information ACVM Registration: A1106 For full registration details, visit: www.foodsafety.govt.nz.
