Shipping & Delivery Our City Bed Frame is handmade in our FSC®-certified (C156318) facility and ships via FedEx in two boxes, 3 if you select the optional headboard. King and Cal King sizes will ship FedEx Freight, AGS curbside, or AGS white glove. You may receive one FedEx tracking number for all boxes. (The FedEx tracking system may indicate the weight for just the first of the boxes.) Optional in-home setup does not include hauling away your old furniture. For optional in-home delivery, our shipping provider will contact you directly to schedule your delivery. At this time, furniture and mattress and/or bedding orders can not be coordinated to arrive at the same time. Easy Assembly The assembly of the City Bed Frame is easy. For instructions, see our Help Center article. Solid Wood Construction The City Bed Frame is constructed from solid wood. No laminates or veneers are used in our platform bed frame. Safe, Odorless Glues Our assembly utilizes Titebond® wood glues, which are safe and produce no harmful fumes. They meet the requirements of ASTM D4236 for safe use with arts and crafts and have both been approved for indirect food contact. Climate Neutral Certified As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. We also recognize our offsets and reductions aren't enough. Solving climate change will require systemic solutions. That's why, through our partnerships with Ceres and the American Sustainable Business Network, we also advocate for state and federal policies that support equitable solutions to the climate crisis. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill — we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.
