Product Overview The AVPro Edge IR Receiver (AC-IRRX) is a wired infrared receiver that captures IR commands from a standard remote control and passes them through an AVPro Edge IR distribution system. It allows remote control operation of AV devices that are hidden, rack-mounted, or out of line-of-sight from the user. Product Description The AC-IRRX picks up IR signals from any compatible remote control and outputs the received signal via a 3.5mm mono plug to an AVPro Edge IR input port. From there, the signal routes through the AVPro Edge IR distribution system to the appropriate emitter at the target device. This receiver is the standard input accessory for AVPro Edge IR control systems and is suitable for placement in any room where the user operates a remote but the controlled devices are not visible.
