Moonstone has been used in jewelry for millennia. The Romans used moonstone, they believed it was derived from solidified rays of the Moon. Both the Romans and Greeks associated moonstone with their lunar Gods. The oversize granulation found on Viking buckles was the inspiration for this mine charm, the granulation and gemstone combination carefully considered to highlight the gemstone.
