Axxess AX-SUBUSB Subaru OEM USB Retention Adapter for Factory Radio Upgrades Retain your factory USB connection when upgrading your Subaru factory radio system with the Axxess AX-SUBUSB OEM USB Retention Adapter. Designed for select Subaru vehicles, this adapter provides a simple solution for connecting the original factory USB port to a compatible aftermarket radio, allowing drivers to continue using their existing USB location after a stereo replacement. The AX-SUBUSB is designed to retain the factory USB port functionality by converting the original vehicle USB connection into a format compatible with select aftermarket receivers. This helps maintain a clean factory appearance by allowing the original USB location to remain in use instead of adding an aftermarket USB extension or relocating the connection. Featuring a 4-pin factory USB connection, the AX-SUBUSB provides a straightforward installation solution for compatible Subaru applications. The adapter connects to the factory USB port and plugs into the rear USB input of an aftermarket radio when supported, helping simplify the installation process during a radio upgrade. Designed for select 2011-2017 Subaru models, the AX-SUBUSB helps preserve factory convenience features while installing a touchscreen receiver or multimedia radio. Compatibility varies by vehicle year, model, and aftermarket radio configuration, so vehicle application should always be verified before installation. Whether replacing a factory stereo, installing a touchscreen receiver, or upgrading a Subaru multimedia system, the Axxess AX-SUBUSB provides a clean and reliable way to retain factory USB functionality for a more seamless aftermarket installation.
