You'll want something with you to chop that thing into pieces or use an axe to find a solution. So, if carrying an axe is so necessary, why not do it on an axe bracket that attaches to your roof rack? This lockable stainless steel cage keeps your axe head safe and out of the way when mounted to the side of the Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack. To install it just slide the bolts and brackets into the side rail of the Slimline II Roof Rack Tray and tighten. It's a matter of seconds. Bolts slide in to the slot of a Front Runner Slimline II side rail or can be adapted and bolted to other racks or surfaces. Axe head is protected in steel cage. If your axe doesn't have a hole in the bottom, you must drill a hole in the bottom of your axe. It's a very simple installation and your axe will be held perfectly secure.
