Created by Fernando Echeverria, Axea embodies his signature pleated leather technique, developed as a distinctive language of form and structure. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted using premium Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather, finished with natural oil treatments that enhance depth, texture, and longevity. The design features a secure metallic clasp closure and an elegant rounded leather handle, hand-stitched in a Hermès-inspired saddle stitch technique for exceptional durability and refinement. Originally presented as a limited edition for Designblok 2023 at the National Gallery of Prague, Axea is now available as a made-to-order piece, crafted individually in Prague.
