Description Axilock-S couplings are used to connect plain-end pipe lengths together without the need for flanging, welding, pipe grooving or pipe threading. Quick and easy to use, these couplings have metallic anchor rings that dig into the pipe wall when the coupling is installed. This prevents the two pipes from pushing apart under pressure or pulling away under end-load. Each coupling is 100% rubber-lined ensuring high levels of corrosion resistance. They are suitable for new installations and retro-fit, whether on a ship, building or process plant. Suitable for use with pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, cast and ductile iron as well as most plastics.
