The beater head is self-aligning - which means it lands flat every time - maximizing impact and reducing wear on the drumhead. Each beater has three (3) paying surfaces to choose from - Felt, Cork, or Hard Plastic - each providing a unique tone and responsiveness. In addition, every Flathead comes with our 1.5 ounce fully adjustable AXiS Beater Weight allowing you to find the exact power and balance you are looking for. Finished in black with the AXiS logo in red, the Flathead Beater is compatible with all AXiS pedal models and generations.
