While it is designed to be "Super Easy" to start on, it isn't just a beginner tool. Because it is part of the modular AXIS system, many riders keep the mast and fuselage and simply add faster wings later. The SES itself is also a fantastic "lazy" cruiser for light wind days even for experienced riders. Which size should I choose if I am right on the 80kg mark? If you are around 80kg and primarily winging in the UK, we generally recommend the 1040. The extra surface area makes getting on the foil much easier in the typical "on-off" winds we often experience. If you are a very fit 80kg or plan to use it mostly for surf/wake, the 940 is a great option. Do I need to buy anything else to get on the water? This package includes the entire foil setup. You will just need a foil-compatible board (with twin tracks) and your wing or paddle. We always recommend using Tefgel (included in some kits or available separately) on the bolts to prevent corrosion.
