Palm Oil or "Dendê" Oil is a popular oil in African and Brazilian cuisines. It is produced from the fruit of the palm tree known as dende palm, native to West Africa. Dendê Oil can vary its differentiation from yellow to reddish-orange due to the amount of carotenoids (vitamin A) in the fruit.
