A modern take on a traditional pattern - this version has spaces between the rows so there's no need to perfect the overlays. This one can be difficult to stitch with a hand-guided machine due to the parallel curves but I have seen it successfully used as a guide, with the ends of the curves rounded and a freehand approach to the curves.
